For the latest updates on what's happening in healthcare in North East Hampshire and Farnham, come to our Governing Body meeting in public this coming Wednesday, October 11.
Our Governing Body members will be formally receiving notification of the CCG's outstanding rating from NHS England - announced earlier in the year - and reviewing progress on a number of key areas of work.
Extended access to GP services (8am to 8pm on weekdays, and appointments at weekends) has launched across the area. Patients in Fleet have been the first in the area to benefit from eConsult, where they can have an online consultation with their GP, enabling them to carry on with their busy lives and possibly save themselves a trip to their GP surgery. The experience of Fleet patients and surgeries will be used to guide the rollout to other practices in the area.
The CCG's plans for winter will also be discussed, as will the progress being made on the community paediatric service for children aged 6 to 11 who need treatment for autism or attention deficit hyperactive disorder (ADHD).
The meeting is between 3pm and 5pm on Wednesday, October 11, at the Holiday Inn, Lynchford Road, Farnborough, GU14 6AZ. Everyone is welcome to attend.
If you would like to view the meeting papers, you can find them here.
Feel free to ask a question of the Governing Body but please submit it by the end of Monday, October 9. You can do that here.
