The role of the Governing Body is to ensure that the Clinical Commissioning Group fulfils its statutory functions and responsibilities in commissioning high quality care for the population of North East Hampshire and Farnham.
NHS North East Hampshire and Farnham Clinical Commissioning Group’s Governing Body has 11 voting members from a variety of backgrounds with a wide range of skills and experience. It includes Executive and Lay Members and all make decisions as a unified group. Who's Who
The Governing Body works closely with its Practice Council which comprises representatives of all 23 GP Practices. Each Governing Body GP has links with individual localities within the geographical area.
As well as the voting members there are a number of other members representing a range of different organisations including local authorities and Public Health.
