United Communities brings together service users, carers, local support organisations and professionals from across the North East Hampshire and Farnham area to discuss local mental health provision, national and local priorities and new initiatives.
Steve Manley, Engagement Manager for North East Hampshire and Farnham Clinical Commissioning Group (CCG), welcomed attendees and provided updates on organisational changes which see the North East Hampshire and Farnham CCG come together with Surrey Heath CCG and East Berkshire CCG to form the Frimley Collaborative.
Although this sounds like big change, each CCG will remain focused on providing for local residents and on its local priorities whilst coming together to reduce inequalities where able. As part of the newly Formed Frimley Collaborative we welcome Dr Andy Brooks, local GP, as our Clinical Chief Officer. As discussed at previous meetings Steve reminded us that the North East Hampshire and Farnham CCG and therefore the Frimley Collaborative are part of a wider system known as the Frimley Health and Care Integrated Care System (ICS) which brings together partners from across health and social care to work together to better join up health, care and wellbeing services.
